Post-COVID-19 restructuring: consultation obligations are still alive and kicking, 25 November 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected many businesses this year. As a consequence, many employers have needed to restructure their workforce to save costs and/or increase business efficiency in the current financial climate. Despite the uncertainty  caused by the pandemic, employment law remains unchanged and employers are still required to act fairly and reasonably with respect of any restructures carried out as a consequence of COVID-19.
