Is reinstatement set to rise? Court assesses reinstatement as the primary remedy, 25 May 2021

A recent Employment Court judgment has provided further reason for employers to turn their minds to the possibility that a dismissed employee may seek and gain reinstatement to their former position. Of particular relevance is that Parliament has recently made reinstatement the primary remedy for a successful personal grievance claim for unjustified dismissal.
